Changes in law regarding personal licence applications.

New Personal Licence Applications, April 2017

From April 1st 2017 personal licence applications have become a little more complicated.

Any application for a person licence or premises licence (and variations of, including DPS consent) must now include a declaration regarding the right to live and work in the UK and supporting documents must be provided by each applicant to prove so. Personal licence applicants must now included with each application the following information, date of birth, town and country of birth, nationality of each applicant. This information requirement is the same for both personal licence applications and premises licence applications and also includes premises licence variations and designated premises supervisor (DPS) appointments.

We offer all of our clients the option to purchase a full licence package when choosing their APLH level 2 training course. This means we do all the administration work on your behalf saving you valuable time and taking the hassle out of the application process.

We can also provide assistance with new premises licence applications, variations to existing licences, licence transfers and changes of DPS. To find out more simply call on of our team on: 01242 222188

Kick start to the new year for PLT

Well January 2016 is here and it seems everyone in the world wants a personal licence to sell alcohol! All good news of course for our busy team of licensing experts at PLT, the company has seen a sharp rise in bookings during the first couple of weeks of January.

Fantastic news for the I.T. team who have been extremely busy over the Christmas break adding some 4,000 plus course dates to all of the PLT websites. We hope you like what we have done to this particular website over the last couple of months. We have been busy trying to make the online booking process as simple as possible.

Great to see the sales team have also added some more corporate clients over the last few months to our ever expanding list of satisfied customers. Welcome on board Swansea University and Aldi Supermarkets. It was also nice to see Databox PLC, Ian Smiths Stationary Suppliers and Icon Brewery obtain their premises licence just before the festive break with the assistance of our team.

We look forward to helping our existing an new customers throughout 2016!
